PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy

Absolute Power ("Absolute Power", "we", "us", "our") respects the confidentiality and privacy of every party that contacts us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and our related channels (email and telephone), how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you. It is intended to align with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.

By using this site or contacting us, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Absolute Power is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at privacy@absolutepower.ca.

2. Information we collect

We keep collection to the minimum needed to evaluate and respond to inquiries.

  • Information you provide. When you submit the contact form or correspond with us by email or telephone, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, organization, business email, role, and the contents of your message or call.
  • Information collected automatically. Our hosting and content-delivery providers generate standard technical logs (for example, IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability. We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used; it sets a first-party analytics cookie and processes usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type on our behalf. We do not use advertising or cross-site profiling cookies.

3. How we use information

We use information to review and respond to qualified inquiries, assess fit and qualification, communicate with you, arrange and conduct discussions, maintain records, protect the security and integrity of our systems, and meet legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations.

4. Automated and AI-assisted handling

Inquiries received by email and telephone may be triaged, drafted, and responded to with the assistance of automated systems, including AI agents, operating under human oversight. These systems help us respond promptly and consistently. We do not use them to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement, and sensitive matters are handled by our personnel. Where required, we will identify when you are interacting with an automated assistant.

5. Telephone calls

When our telephone line is active, calls may be recorded or processed by automated systems for quality, accuracy, and record-keeping. Where calls are recorded, we provide notice at the start of the call. If you prefer not to be recorded, you may contact us by email instead.

6. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

  • with trusted service providers who process information on our behalf (for example, website hosting and content delivery, email and productivity services, contact-form processing, telephony, and AI processing), under obligations of confidentiality and security;
  • to advance a specific engagement that you have initiated or requested;
  • where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

7. Service providers and information outside Canada

Some of our service providers store or process information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Where this occurs, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including lawful access by courts, law enforcement, and government authorities. We engage providers that offer a comparable level of protection.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain our relationship, and satisfy legal, tax, and compliance requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

9. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it (which may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry). To make a request, contact privacy@absolutepower.ca. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11. Children

This site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is identified by the date below, and material changes take effect when posted.
